Strata
Even though these probably aren't official string blocks, they end up looking like them. This is what I made after a very enjoyable workshop taught by Scott Murkin. The wall quilt is approx 27' x 32" and the title is "Growth Rings". In the close up you can see the rings.
Those look like strings to me,,,just a little wonky!! The Best kind. I love making string blocks, one of my favorite quilting techniques. Just found your blog via Scrap-patches!! You were on her sidebar and I'm thrilled to have found you!! Gmama Jane
