I prepared a red and green string quilt as a project for our Possum Town Quilters.
Using an old algebra book for foundations we placed a yellow strip diagonally in each block with
red on one side and green on the other side.

I love your blocks. They remind me of watermelon slices.
ReplyDeleteOh this is so pretty--reminds of Christmas ribbon candy!1 Lovely piece hugs, Julierose

ReplyDeleteLove these blocks.
ReplyDeleteHow attractive. The yellow and black & white set the greens and reds off perfectly.
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with red and green and some yellow! Wonderful blocks and good use of an algebra book if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteLove them.Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I especially like the two vintage machines your friends are sewing on -- the Singer FW and the Bernina.
ReplyDeleteIn the second pic the yellow stands out so well, like a picture frame. Can't wait to see the entire green diamonds also.
ReplyDeleteFun strips - looks like watermelon.

Nice! That bag is interesting. I'm not sure I could use one like that -- my purse is usually such a breeding ground for debris! But this one looks great1
