I told Brenda when I signed up for this that I was "drowning in strings." I have enough 5.5" blocks already made to make 2 king-sized quilts. Now my string boxes are overflowing again, and I'm going to need to take a couple of days and make some more blocks.
I'll be donating the first two quilt tops to my guild's community service program - someone else can sandwich, quilt, and bind them!

Can you show us the back of one of your blocks in another post? I'm interested to see your method here. and I'm glad you're here and not drowning in your strings.
Hi Cyndi . Lovely to meet you.
I dont have anywhere near the amount of strings you have but I'm an inveterate scrap hoarder. One of my goals for this year is to use up as many scraps as possible. I think scraps and strings breed overnight!
What a great idea to donate a couple of quilt tops to your guild.
Are you using foundations for your blocks or just stringing along and trimming? Love the blocks.
