My first finished string top!

I finished this a few weeks ago.  I love it!! Although after sharing it, I realized I need to add another row to the sides! it's too long for the width!

Strings even in the sashing and cornerstones make this a wow quilt!

Happy and bright. Well done! I agree, another row wider might be nice.

Beautiful color combinations. Always like to see the little 9-patch cornerstones, they are fun. Must put those on my next scrappy string quilt.
Thank you for sharing ;-)

Like everyone else, I love the nine-patch cornerstones and string sashing! I did this once with a "regular" block be never thought of using it with string blocks. What a lovely quilt it makes. Clever you!

I love your quilt with the sashing and 9 patch corners. I have a small project and thought I would try your sashing...disaster! None of my sashing strips were the right size and not one of my corner squares matched up LOL! Maybe we could get a tutorial on this process? I think there are a few of us who want to try this. Great quilt!

I do agree with your comment about the width vs length ratio. That said, I love, love, love your quilt! I used the same sashing on a sampler quilt and was very pleased with it, but, your quilt is more snazzy!
