I love your project, it looks much better with these on-point squares. My suggestion : you could make them a bit bigger with curved sides, I mean just as curved as the wheels, as an echo. It also will depend on your quilting... Anyway it will be gorgeous!
Too late...I was thinking the same thing! (making the on point square larger and rounded) could also add red to the center to mimic the red centers in the circles....
