I had an order for a string quilt and when I was finished with this top...
I thought maybe I'd better give more of a subdued choice to the client.
So, I did this one...
He liked the first one better. Both are at the quilter's now. They will be so much better when quilted!

Gorgeous! I think I like the first one better too, because the colors are so lovely, but they are both wonderful.

I like them both and if I had been the client I would have had a really hard time choosing!

Both are wonderful ... I kinda like the mellow one, feeling "woodsy" here this evening :)

Both of your quilts are great ! I know what you mean about the quilting, when I finish a top, I like it just fine, but once it's quilted, it becomes my new favorite !
