My first string project of 2019!
String quilts are very popular this winter, being shared all over the internet world,
and I was motivated to participate.
My inspiration was this photo of a vintage string quilt:

It's been added to my to-be-quilted basket, and will become a donation quilt.
I already have an idea for my next string quilt -- it's going to be a productive year!

I like the sashing with your blocks - usually I don't!
I have a whole box of string blocks. Just need to sew them into a quilt.
Love your finished string flimsy. I've been hankering to do a string quilt -- but keep trying to finish some UFOs. I just need to make a decision about what I want to do and just do it! I've done at least one, maybe 2 from Gwen's book.
This quilt is one of my inspiration quilts, too -- but it won't be done with red. Your version is gorgeous.
