One More Finish!

This string quilt is sort of serendipity as I used up some stripe fabric that I just didn't know how to use.  When the idea hit of trying it in a string quilt, I could hardly wait to see it all come together.
I'm not one to measure each set as I am cutting the 10 inch squares into 9.5 inch blocks, so the corners seem a bit wonky.  I am a happy wonky quilter that loves the process and the excitement of sewing the blocks together.

This one is unusual for me as often I choose bright colors, but it's restful and I do love the grey with it.  The binding is some fabric I purchased for another quilt and didn't use.  It was absolute heaven to use.  I wish all fabric was so easy to sew into the binding.

This is the quilt I purchased the grey fabric for, not knowing how much I'd use.  It's a quilt I put together for a friend from pictures I found on the internet and I started with a pineapple paper pieced block in the center.

I love your string quilt. I have some greys and pinks just hanging around, this gives me a good idea for them. Thank you! The runner is also so lovely.

Love your pink and gray ( and I am not a gray lover).

Love this happy looking quilt! The stripe in your last round of each block is great unifier. If this is wonky, it really works!!
