Prom Queen Goes Hunting?
It's as if this string block has a dilemma: Go to the prom or go hunting? I pulled out my ugliest of uglies, the mustard camo type fabric, for this special block, as well as a sparkly blue star and a vintage feedsack strip that looks like snow cones exploded on the sidewalk.
This is going to be a fun quilt!

Yep - I hunted through my strings last night and pulled the ones that seemed "ugliest" ... but whenI laid them down flat and side by side, just like your block - not ugly!
Can't wait to see this quilt come together!

Great looking block, I like the colors in it!!
I even like the mustard camo. Funny.. other people's uglies don't look ugly to me.
